The Refugee from Heaven
Cora Evans

What if you could feel even closer to Christ?

Cora Evans, born into a Mormon family, was a humble woman who lived a brave and mystical life. Blessed with mystical experiences, such as an unforgettable vision of the Blessed Mother when she was just three years old, Cora discovered, as she was exchanging vows with her husband, that Mormonism could never be the true path to God. Through study and prayer, she embraced the truth of Jesus and became a Catholic. Cora gracefully endured much hardship, from the death of her infant son to the pain of Christ’s wounds. Cora’s life was devoted to sharing Christ’s message and bringing modern Catholics closer to the light of His heart.

Cora’s book retells the story of Christ as she discovered it through personal revelation. Cora prayed, “Please give me the grace to remember the vision and understanding in Thy wisdom to better relate to friends Thy hidden mystery of love for them... help me, Jesus, to write them as You would like them written for Thy glory to be better known among men." Newly published, Cora’s writings are now in book form.

Five StarsAn Awesome Account of the Life of Jesus

The Refugee from Heaven is an account of the life of Jesus as presented to Cora Evans, a modern day mystic and stigmantic. While in deep states of ecstasy, Cora witnessed and recorded Jesus' life in minute detail. And once you read it, you will want to read it again and again. And I think you will be moved to a renewed interest in scripture, insights into prayer and contemplation and a more personal relationship with Jesus.
